KARTLI

The heart of Georgia. In Kartli, in just a few minutes' drive from Tbilisi, lies the old capital of Georgia - Mtskheta. It is called the "City-Museum". Kartli is full of historical monuments. The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, the rests of "Armazi" - pre-christian temple, the Surami fortress and lots more will take you many centuries back. The Kartlians are nice, but... without a sense of humour.
